The Smokey Eye 101
First tip! I will be headed back to school very soon&one of my newest favorite looks is the smokey eye! Now this isn't for everyone, I've noticed the bigger your eyes are the better because it looks so much fuller. But it does look good on smaller eyes also which is more so what I have you just have to use a little more shadow&liner. Well here are some step-by-step instructions:
Step 1) Get together any color eyeliner&something to smudge it out, a few (3 or 4) different colored eyeshadows,a sponge eyeshadow brush&a normal eyeshadow brush, mascara,&an eyelash curler if you have one.
Step 2)Start by applying the mascara to the upper&lower lashes; once applied curl the upper lashes using your eyelash curler.
Step 3)Next to the top lid of your eyes apply a medium thick amount of eyeliner and smudge it out till it looks faded. Then if you wish apply the liner to the lower lash line; this makes the eyes pop more&look bigger. But it isn't neccassary if unwanted.
Step 4)Then take 2 different colors of your eyeshadow and go over the liner on the upper eyelid using the sponge brush.
Step 5) Next take a different color eyeshadow&fill in the rest of the upper eye lid,also using the sponge brush.
Step 6) Take the regular brush and use whatever color eyeshadow you have not used and sweep it all the way up till its right under the brow.
Step 7) Finally take the regular brush and use a neutral color; (whites good) and sweep it over the whole eye for a finishing touch.
